College Credit Plus
College Ready Ohio is researching and putting into practice the use of mobile technologies for both online and in-person teaching and learning formats for College Credit Plus. College Credit Plus replaces the Post Secondary Education Options (PSEO) program. High school students have the opportunity to earn non-remedial college credit from Ohio State that will appear on both their high school and college transcripts, at no cost to the student.
Students interested in taking a College Credit Plus Course from Ohio State’s Columbus campus must complete the following steps:
Apply through The Ohio State Academy
The Ohio State Academy follows the same competitive admission process as undergraduate admissions. Learn more about these admission standards. Apply by May 1st for Autumn semester or November 1st for Spring semester. Visit the FAQ section of the Academy website or contact ESUE-Academy@osu.edu with any questions.
Once accepted into the academy program, students will be assigned an academic advisor and attend orientation to be enrolled into courses. Students will be unable to enroll in a course without an advisor and successful completion of any prerequisite coursework.
Featured Online Courses
GE Online project features popular general education courses available to students accepted into the academy program. This site will continually update information about these courses and other featured online courses as part of Ohio State Academy. Students accepted into the academy program will work with their assigned academic advisor on scheduling, but may use these featured courses and the College Credit Plus pathways as general guidance for enrolling in courses.
